Barrister K.K.Ukagwu is a committed lawyer with integrity and passion for his work. He interned at an elite Firm with a Senior Advocate of Nigeria as Lead Counsel and thereafter joined the employ of Hallmark Bank Plc and Universal Trust Bank Plc before he established Afri Juris Chambers in 1998.He was the best graduate of the UTB officers programme (Class of 1994).

Mr Ukagwu has worked for many years as a legal consultant to the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) of the Federal Government of Nigeria and a resource consultant to the Central Bank of Nigeria (OFID). Transaction legal adviser to many first and second generation banks quoted on the Nigerian stock Exchange and listed solicitor to blue chip oil companies in both down stream and upstream sectors of the Nigeria oil industry .He has co-consulted on trade marks and documentary approvals for companies and international affiliates in the U.S.A, Austria, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Italy, the U.K, East Africa and more.

Barrister Ukagwu was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991 after attending the Law School in Lagos and licensed to practice as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria at Abuja. He has carried out research and attended courses and seminars on the Nigeria Cabotage law in the Oil and Gas sector, Property investment in an emerging market by Apt Investments Woolwich England, ADR (MDCS) by the Lagos State Judiciary and Property Investment in Ghana by Jeffmorgans, Osu Accra Ghana and IBA conferences.

Kelechi Kwame is a Fellow Chartered Economist (Institute of chartered economists of Nigeria)FCE , a Certified member of the Nigeria Institute of management and the International Bar Association London. He is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association .Kelechi who is a Rotaract member (Rotary Club) is involved in community service with the Hands of Sarah foundation and is a member of the Catholic Lawyers Association of the St Agnes Catholic Church Maryland Lagos.
